School Election Results Tuesday, March 7th
March 8, 2017 - All articles on the Hanover and Dresden ballots passed, and incumbents Carey Callaghan, Mimi Lichtenstein and David Sobel won re-election as Hanover School Board members. In the Norwich election, School Board incumbents Tom Candon and Jim Mackall won re-election.  For more information about the ballots, who ran, and the position of the Hanover Finance Committee on the budgets, please link to Voting Information for 2017.  Or link to see the vote totals for Hanover School District and Dresden School District.

SAU 70 Mission Statement


SAU 70 schools are an active learning community that provides broad academic and co-curricular programs. We engage students' minds, hearts and voices so that they become educated, caring and responsible adults. All students are given the opportunity and encouragement to use their:

  • Hearts to respect and care for the emotional and physical well-being of themselves and others, and for the environment.
